Since 1990, I've been Producer for several Radio Netherlands series: Van Gogh's Ear, Mirror Images, Aural Tapestry, and Vox Humana (with Dheera Sujan & Michele Ernsting) I also co-presented a weekly live local LGBT show Alien in Amsterdam.

With a background in theatre, I like a personal, storytelling approach to radio - whether dealing with culture and the arts or serious social issues. The European "creative feature" approach has heavily influenced my own work in recent years.

Awards: Prix Marulic 2006 (Croatia), NLGJA/Seigenthaler Awards (2005, 2001 & 1998), Guondong (China) International Music Radio Silver Award (1999), and a six-time Finalist in as many categories at the New York Festivals (always the bridesmaid, never the bride...)
