Public Radio Remix is an experimental Internet stream and XM Satellite Radio channel curated and hosted by PRX to showcase pieces from PRX.org's producers and develop new approaches to public radio formats and sounds. Find us online (http://www.publicradioremix.org) on XM Satellite Channel 123 (http://www.xmradio.com/publicradioexchange), and on Spokane Public Radio KPBZ.
Remix is programmed with the best work from the hundreds of independent producers and stations on PRX and beyond, featuring great storytelling, edgy podcasts, cutting edge lectures, interviews and more.
We will invite producers and stations to opt-in via PRX to offer their programs on the new channel, and will also invite users on PRX.org to participate in the curating and recommending of content for the channel using PRX playlists. We plan to assemble showcase programs that will also be available to stations on PRX for local broadcast and further digital distribution.
If you are interested in offering your radio programs on the Remix/XM channel simply opt-in to the Public Radio Remix option for any or all of them via My PRX.
