WKNC is the student run radio station of NC State University.
Voted the Best Station for Music and the Best College Radio Station by Raleigh-Durham's Independent Weekly in May of 2005 & 2006, WKNC strives to bring you the best the music in the Research Triangle Park area. Boasting 25,000 watts, WKNC can be heard throughout the Triangle and far beyond via our web streaming service.
WKNC sets itself apart from other stations in the area by being 100 percent student run. Everyone from the General Manager to the DJs are students. The station offers training for those who seek to enter the field of professional broadcasting.
