My first can make an arrow fly
My next with O a yes reply
Combined I please the nose and eye.
This is a riddle about a bouquet . To solve this one, first you have to figure out the structure. My first? My next? Combined? Is it a cake recipe? No, these aren't ingredients, they're syllables. It's a traditional form for a riddle. My first can make an arrow fly. That's a bow. My next with O a yes reply. That's a K, as in okay. Combined, they please the nose and eye. A bou-quet. I know, it's a groaner.
NEW RIDDLE:
My shingle is a candy stick
Though sweets I do not offer
And though my work's impeccable
I soon must do it over.
