Both stories remind me of why we have to talk to our little sisters, be an aunt, mother, sister-friend; but talk to our kids and talk to amongst our selves. We are somebody and this is not just for women of color though the battle ever wages. This is to all females and then turn to the brothers and remind them that to value ones self is to value each other.

Ah, the use of I, very masterfully done- I forgot that that was an issue and just enjoyed the story... lol

Anyone who is aware of any holocost should understand the depth of this story.

This was a beautiful and sweet story. Ms. Gloria is strong, dignified and poised. This woman knows who she is no matter how anyone else looks at her. What a lesson for all of us; that person in the mirror should be awesome if only in our eyes.
