All beautifully written and very well read. These poems would stand as wonderful segment enders and give any listener pause for reflection.
It's difficult to recall a time when I last heard poetry read on radio broadcast (aside from the occassional special interview with reknowned poets, of course...). It's my belief that these 'vignettes' would make terrific regular additions to any weekly news magazine with a literature & arts segment, or simply act as stand alone pieces tucked inside a feature based program.
Well done Jack Straw Productions and, in my humble opinion, long over due!
