This program brings listeners a weekly window into the fascinating, exotic, passionate, confusing world of Israeli and Middle Eastern news and politics, woven together with hot international issues, Jewish current events, history, culture, and spirituality. The show is produced in a magazine format with commentary, humor, in-depth interviews, man-on-the-street reports, and exclusive audio captured live at special events in Israel and abroad. Fleisher regularly interviews Israeli and international politicians, thinkers and business leaders. Yishai and his wife, Malkah Fleisher, known for their work as a broadcasting team, regularly appear on air together for a portion of "The Yishai Fleisher Show" featuring their trademark humor, innovative thinking and analysis of news of the day as well as their experiences living in Israel. Yishai Fleisher is Israel's only English talk show host on AM/FM radio in Israel (Galey Yisrael 106.5 FM). Fluent in English, Hebrew and Russian, he has appeared as a guest on CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, NPR, and Xinhua, and has been published in the Jerusalem Post, Ynet, Israel National News, World Net Daily, and more. Yishai served as a Paratrooper in the IDF and continues in the reserves. Yishai’s Kumah non-profit reaches a global audience with in-person presentations as well as online multimedia to deepen understanding of the Middle East and inspire Jewish connection to Israel.
