Welcome to Local Music Worldwide, a radio series documenting traditional and folk musics from around the world, played locally in New York City. In the tradition of journalist and ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax, the series seeks to preserve personal narratives and intimate live recordings. With each episode, producer Willis Arnold explores how music evolves even as traditions are kept alive.
