Series: Voices at an Exhibition
Produced by David Schulman
Very short, game-like montages that explore the act of interpretation.
Each piece in this pilot series presents, rapid-fire, viewers responses to a work of art. The piece of art (or whatever it is ...) is not revealed until the end, so that listeners form a mental image as they listen to, and respond to, others' descriptions and interpretations. The subject is revealed at the end.
Big Q for this pilot — is the visual vital? Is this radio, or does it need to be an online presentation where the image can be gradually or ultimately revealed?
