On Offramp, three actors let the tape roll while anything and everything can happen. Completely improvised, the voices are fresh and funny, spontaneous, hilarious and natural. Even full-fledged songs are recorded in a single take. The tracks are edited and mixed with sfx - it takes 8-12 hours of tape to make a half hour show.

The comedy is absurdist and eloquent, never cheap shots or game show antics. Witty wordplay and a wild array of voices give life to character-driven glimpses of reality and surreality, laugh out loud humor and poignant musings. Offramp find laughter in the absurd and tragic, deflating of the terror and sadness of day-to-day life in pieces more startling and unexpected than any script.

Winner of two Crystal Awards of Excellence in 2003's Communicator Awards - in Radio Programs and On Air Talent/Humor - the series has aired on home station WMNF and other public radio and internet radio stations.
