Just a down earth guy that knows how to work hard while not taking life too seriously. I am a recent graduate of NYU, but originally grew up in Maryland 30 minutes south of Baltimore. I love listening to the radio. When done right, I find radio to be the most captivating media platform. But most importantly I think radio has the most chill, down to earth people you will ever meet. I have interned at several radio stations/companies including: WOR Radio, Sirius XM, and ABC News Radio. One day I hope to be in front of the mic hosting my own show. But for right now, I’m enjoying my time as an producer for USC’s Annenberg Radio news; sending reporters out on stories, rocking the soundboards, cutting down the show, and producing my own stories on the side. Carl, the bartender that keeps Santa Monica Laughing

From Victor Figueroa | 02:03

Hear from a Santa Monica character who has found his quiet oasis.

Revcarl_painting_small A musician, painter, caring husband, loving father.  Carl has several talents, but the one I was able to experience was his compelling nature as a bartender at Santa Monica's Pacific Dining Car. He's an old fashion drink-server who knows how whatever guy you need him to be.  A priestly figure, a dirty joke telling pal, and a wise-advise giving friend.  Carl knows how to be almost anybody, but yet you can never mistake him for being someone except well...as Carl.
