Maine is an agriculturally aware place and there is a "back to the land" movement going on there. Joining the farmers and fishermen are chefs who incorporate resourceful cooking techniques as a part of their culinary efforts. These chefs grow much of what they cook and locally source the rest. Annemarie Ahearn, the owner of Salt Water Farm in Lincolnville and Rockport is one of the new breed of chefs.
