An Appreciation of Doyle Bramhall II

From WMVY | 01:00:00

A look at the solo and studio work of Doyle Bramhall II

Doyleb_small A look at the solo and studio work of Doyle Bramhall II

Guitar ace, songwriter, singer, band leader, sessions man and solo artist, Doyle Bramhall II has quietly amassed an extraordinary catalogue of songs, performances and high profile fans.  And yet, he doesn't have the name recognition of the artists who call on him for his skills---people like Eric Clapton, Elton John, Willie Nelson and T-Bone Burnett to name just a few.  Bramhall has been a part of what are likely some of your favorite records, and you may not have even knows it's him lifting the songs.  This program will scratch the surface of this impressive 3 decade career in an appreciation of Doyle Bramhall II.
