Joe Carraro describes how lobbyists have corrupted both major political parties to give us the current health care and financial systems we have, and why we have never had tort reform come up before Congress. Industry and special interest lobbyists contribute BILLIONS of dollars each year to both parties, and we need to stop them if we are ever going to have our voices heard.

NEPOTISM HAPPENS EVERYWHERE AT ALL LEVELS SO THAT EVENTUALLY EVERYONE BECOMES INVOLVED EITHER IN ITS PERPETUATION OR ITS COVER-UP. IT'S PREVALENT IN ALL OF GOVERNMENT AND CERTAINLY INFLUENCES WHETHER BILLS ARE PASSED OR KILLED, AND WHAT MONEY IS SPENT ON. IN SOME CASES IT LEADS TO ELECTED OFFICIALS HAVING THEIR FAMILIES INDIRECTLY BECOMING INVOLVED IN DECIDING HOW THEY ARE GOING TO VOTE, WHICH COMES IN CONFLICT WITH THE BEST INTERESTS OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS. BUT AS WITH SO MANY THINGS IN GOVERNMENT, WHAT GOES ON IS SO ISOLATED FROM PUBLIC VIEW THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE. AND, IF THEY CAN OPENLY GET AWAY WITH IT IN THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES WHY CAN'T THEY GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING ON THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL AS WELL. OH! AND LIKE I SAID IT'S ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE WITH DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS PARTICIPATING. AND THAT'S WHY NOBODY COMPLAINS. OF COURSE, IN CONGRESS IT'S EVEN A BIGGER DEAL. OF COURSE, THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IS EVEN WORSE. AND THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION MADE NEPOTISM AN INDUSTRY. OF COURSE, MOST OF THE REAL BENEFITS OF NEPOTISM DON'T OCCUR EVEN IN THE DIM LIGHT OF CONGRESS. BUT THOSE RELATIVES STILL HAVE TO SHOW RESULTS. AND IF YOU DON'T THINK THAT THOSE IN CONGRESS AREN'T EXPECTED TO COME THROUGH FOR THE SUPPORTERS OF THEIR FAMILIES, JUST LOOK AT THE SUSAN B. KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE FOUNDATION DEALING WITH CANCER, AND THEIR MOVE TO DUMP SENATOR JOE LIEBERMAN'S WIFE AS ITS "GLOBAL AMBASSADOR," SAYING HADASSAH LIEBERMAN'S HEALTH CARE LOBBYING WORK AND HER HUSBAND'S OPPOSITION TO THE SO-CALLED PUBLIC OPTION, MAKE HER UNFIT FOR THE JOB. SO IF YOU'RE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS UNDERSTANDING WHAT'S HAPPENING IN WASHINGTON JUST CHECK OUT THE MONEY THAT'S COMING IN TO THESE POLITICIANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THAT'S WHY THEY VOTE LIKE THEY DO, AND THAT'S HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH IT. AND IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW, THE WORST IS YET TO COME.

Joe Carraro discusses how the rich and powerful got richer and more powerful under Bush and now Obama as they have colluded to enrich the elites in government and big business. If the Obama Administration was serious about stimulating the economy, why aren't why financing a massive investment in green technology such as manufacturing solar panels on houses to lower bills and free up our money to pay our mortgages and other bills. We need innovation and new ideas, not the same failed process of giving more and more money to mega corporations already fattened by their incestuous relationship with government through lobbyists and campaign contributions, and the revolving door of officials coming from these firms and then heading right back, often to lobby the same people they just served with.

We need to move forward to find a cause for Autism without fear to question and innovate and just maybe get closer to understanding what we're dealing with and where it comes from.  It was when the vaccine manufacturers stopped using mercury and added other preservatives like phenoxyethanol and formaldihyde that can affect immune systems, and started using human tissue to grow virus' for vaccines, that an increase in autism incidences occurred. It could be human DNA contained in the MMR--measles, mumps and rubella—vaccine, that's a cause.  It's been observed that spikes in autism rates occurred when human tissue was first used in the MMR II vaccine in 1983, and again in 1988 when a second MMR II shot was added for some children, and then yet again in 1995 when they began using a chicken pox vaccine grown in human fetal tissue.  There are possible cause we need to immediately investigate.
