This piece is made wholly of interviews and field recordings I captured while in Peru in the summer of 2010. The recordings are blended and produced to illustrate the process of making meaning from fractured experiences. The piece begins as a chaotic sound collage of field recordings, then presents cuts from four interviews concerning life in transience, and concludes with a remix of the field recordings into a coherent "music." The overall product is bold and visceral.
