FuseBox Radio Broadcast

Since its foundation in 1998 - when the show was created by radio, mixtape & club DJ, DJ Fusion (real name, Mary Nichols) as an undergraduate student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick in New Jersey - the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast has been around to expose the absolute BEST of Black Music from all over the world (sou, hip-hop, jazz, funk, reggae, house, electronica, rock, etc.) along with bringing quality interviews, news, and commentary.

Along with fellow co-host/DJ/Producer/Partner Jon Judah (added on as part of the FuseBox Radio crew in 2004), we try our best to stick to that mission and bring great sounds, vibe and content to the masses - what Black Radio (not watered down mainstream "Urban Radio") was/is all about.

From it's roots at Rutgers University Radio (WRSU 88.7 FM), the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast is a 3 hour clean/radio friendly mixshow that has spread to over 25+ FM, internet radio stations and website outlets as of May 2012.

The syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast also a broadcast partner with journalist Glen Ford's Black Agenda Report (http://www.BlackAgendaReport.com) and the HBCU (Historically Black College and University) Radio Network's Direct EFX (http://www.myspace.com/directefx101) to bring extra syndicated programming segments of news, entertainment and commentary.

Most of our affiliate radio stations and internet outlets track music airplay for BDS and/or MediaBase spins and artist royalty payments via RadioWave Monitor, Mediaguide & SoundExchange.
