Ken Rudin's Political Junkie

GroupAccount image

Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie  brings a fresh take to political conversation -- featuring energetic discussions, rich historical context, and plenty of bad jokes. Host Ken Rudin  brings his years of experience on the campaign trail to the fore as he highlights notable moments in political history, and looks ahead to the biggest stories on the national scene.

Political novices and junkies alike will gain new insights from a broad spectrum of journalists, analysts and newsmakers from across the country. Plus, listeners are invited to show off their own political knowledge with Ken’s weekly trivia questions and ScuttleButton puzzles.

Combining Ken’s encyclopedic knowledge of political facts with his trademark humor, Political Junkie  is the program that dares to make politics interesting and fun.

Ken Rudin's Political Junkie  is published weekly in both a full-hour show and a 9-minute minisode series. The show is tailored for a public radio audience.

The full-hour show is available to stations as an ongoing subscription for an annual carriage fee. The minisodes are available without any long-term carriage agreement, but must be purchased using PRX points -- 90 points/week. More information about both series is available on our website.

Evergreen episodes are available to stations at these links:
* 9-minute minisode: PJ 2015 Evergreen - Minisode
* Full-hour show: PJ 2015 Evergreen - Full Hour

For more information about the show, including carriage and purchasing information for stations, contact Douglas Bell, Coordinating Producer at dbell@krpoliticaljunkie.com. For other questions about the show, or to book Ken for local appearances, contact Ken at ken@krpoliticaljunkie.com.
