Live Wire! Radio

Our show Live Wire! is a one-hour weekly radio variety show recorded in front of a live audience. It’s music, it’s conversation, it’s sketch comedy. It’s the show that dared to put tap dancing, juggling and ballet on the radio. Live Wire highlights the best musicians and most fascinating writers, poets, dignitaries, artists we can find in the even more beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. The show broadcasts on terrestrial radio stations throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Past guests include director Todd Haynes, author Steve Almond and musical guests Kristin Hersh, Peter Buck of REM, Stephen Malkmus, and Colin Meloy of the Decemberists. Oh, and yes, we've had Chuck Barris on the show. What public radio show hasn't? (Shockingly, he didn't assassinate a single person on our staff.)
