- "Phelps-a-thons: Turning hate into cash"
- Summary: The Westboro Baptist Church, in Topeka, Kansas is headed up by the notorious Reverend Fred Phelps, and is known chiefly for its incendiary rhetoric against other religious and gay communities. They are perhaps most famous for picketing at military funerals, with signs sporting phrases like "Thank God For Dead Soliders." While their movement has prompted a furious national outcry, some organizations are using the WBC's hate campaign to their own peaceful ends.

Efforts like this seem to me to be wastes of time - and their celebration by PRX equally, if not more, dismaying. WBC hardly worth scraping off my shoe. LGBTQ activists just slightly more worthy and PRX's slavish devotion to their causes simple class warfare.
