Review of The Emergence of Bob Dylan (deleted)

What a fine tribute to one of the best singer-songwriters. The interviews were not only interesting but offered insight specific to the timeframe discussed. The songs are very playful and show a side of Dylan that is upbeat, passionate and experimental. The interviews helped build the story of how Dylan's path was surprising to some and a no-brainer for those intimately involved in the folk scene. I thought the song choice was exceptional -- they accurately told the story of how Bob Dylan emerged. The sound quality between the interviews, older cuts and studio recorded cuts was seemless. Additionally, I hadn't thought of Bob Dylan as a great harmonica player until it was mentioned in this piece. How true.
