Two Americans--a historian and a foreign policy expert--discuss a US/China/Asia media headline over a weekly cup of espresso.

China and its Asian neighbors will dominate the economy and the strategic ecology of the world in the 21st Century. China is expected to overtake the US economy soon and is increasingly confident of meeting America militarily in its backyard. Economies of China's neighbors are tightly networked with it. How will the U.S. handle the prospect of becoming #2 ? And how will Asian countries learn to live with this new reality in which America is no longer the single global super-power?

In this short, five minute podcast, professors Kyle Crossley (Dartmouth College) and Sarwar Kashmeri (Norwich University) [ www.orient-espresso.net ] pick a headline from the previous week and use their expertise to interpret it for a non-specialist audience; years of international relations knowledge delivered in a conversational style over a cup of steaming espresso!
