Roving Philosophical Reports
Series produced by Devon Strolovitch
Where the rubber meets the road on Philosophy Talk.
Philosophy Talk is a weekly, one-hour public radio series hosted by two prominent Stanford University Philosophy professors, John Perry and Ken Taylor. The hosts' down-to-earth and no-nonsense approach brings the richness of philosophic thought to everyday subjects. Topics are lofty (Truth, Beauty, Justice), arresting (Terrorism, Intelligent Design, Suicide), and engaging (Baseball, Flirting, Happiness). This is not a lecture series or a college course; it's philosophy in action! While the program usually follows a live call-in format, it features pre-produced dispatches from the Roving Philosophical Reporter that illustrate where the rubber meets the road for the day's topic.
