About the Podcast Accelerator

In addition to a $10,000 stipend, the five selected podcasting teams will participate in a 16-week intensive training developed by PRX and PBS KIDS during a time when demand for family-friendly audio content is at an all-time high.

The program will also help participants navigate production, build processes and skills, and provide for community among fellow creators.

Participants in the accelerator program may also have their pilot podcasts selected for distribution on PBS KIDS digital platforms. Following the training period, PBS KIDS plans to commission more content from one of the participating podcast teams.
