About Me

Lynda-Marie Taurasi worked as a radio and print journalist whilst living in Carrboro, North Carolina. She was a correspondent for the News & Observer in Raleigh and its sister publications, The Chapel Hill News and The Durham News. Previously, she was the news director for a community radio station in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and a writer for MTV Radio Networks in New York City. Her work for WCHL won a Regional Edward R. Murrow award for "Best Use of Sound" in 2010. She has contributed to Free Speech Radio News, a national and international radio news program, CBS Radio News, and has provided commentary for MSNBC.

She earned a Certificate in Documentary Arts at The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University in addition to a bachelor's from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina and a Master's from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
