What a relevant story! The inspiration that comes from this story will definitely spark some for others that hear it I'm sure. I really enjoyed the interview, it was very well conducted. A great piece, in my opinion, keeps the listener engaged the entire time. You did that very well with your transitions and preview and review statements. It was a great story to listen to because I'm sure this idea or one like it has gone through every high school students mind. The most interesting part of the piece was the introduction and conclusion because they wrapped up the piece well. The overall effect was there and it definitely kept me wanting more in the end! Great job.

It was very interesting hearing a different perspective of what some people think is the norm. A good piece in my opinion engages the listener the entire time, and you did just that! I think that all the different perspectives really added to the piece and provided it with some diversity. The best part of listening to this piece was the after effect, going out and seeing all of these daily things and trying to make a difference. The quality of what everyone had to say was spot on and all of the sound effects made the piece that much better. I appreciate that you went the extra step to make the piece of such high caliber. Your introduction really grabbed my attention which made me want to keep listening. The conclusion was very well done, it wrapped up all that was said very nicely. Great job!

I couldn't relate to this story any more than I did! As a high school senior, I know exactly what you are going through. All the pressure, expectations, focus, drive, competition, etc. I can relate to it all. I enjoyed all the different perspectives, it shows the real diversity of a high school. You had some great information. All the interviews provided good insight and very relative advice. This piece can relate to any high school student across the nation. In the end, I have felt all the frustrations, joys and stresses that you spoke about. All of your comments were spot on. "Focus on the journey, not the destination" is the quote I got from listening to this piece. I would recommend listening to this piece to anyone that is in high school or preparing for college. Finally, the music carried the piece in a very engaging way. Great job!!

It's great to hear a different side of pop culture. Very relevant topic! I really liked how all the people involved gave a different perspective. The part that stood out to me the most was the wide variety of somewhat professional clips. I am guilty of falling for the song and singing along with all my friends, which is what made this piece so fun to listen to. This piece makes me think about the song as more than just a top 40 song, but instead a meaningful piece that can relate to many people, especially teens. All in all, this piece brought to my attention a new perspective which will make me think twice about doing something that will make me fit in versus something that I actually want to do.

As a high school student, I can relate to this piece A LOT. This piece was very dramatic, because of that it immediately caught my attention. I was able to relate to the story in a way that made the story almost directed towards me. The theatrical delivery spoke to me like a song. This piece reminds the listener of a social issue that many people can relate to, ethnicity and stereotypes. Living in a somewhat diverse community, some of the "lyrics" I have personally witnessed. I think the lack of outside is what made this piece unique. This is a "hot topic" meaning that many teens across the country are going to listen to this and relate to it, very well produced and perfect for the target audience!
