About Me

My vision is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Have had wonderful work experiences including being Iowa State's first elementary school counselor, radio talk show host on WDBQ in Dubuque, Iowa, and now WPKN in Bridgeport, CT, Research Associate at Harvard Business School, Director of Leadership Development for Exxon and Hartford Insurance, and CEO of my own consulting business since 1994. In 1999 I formed a strategic alliance with the pioneers of emotional intelligence and worked closely with Peter Salovey, Provost of Yale University and his colleagues Drs. Jack Mayer and David Caruso. In 2003 I created the Emotion Roadmap to help make the science of emotional intelligence useful to everybody. My talk show is all about my experience helping to make a meaningful difference by teaching people how to use the Emotion Roadmap.
