The piece was well done with getting some backdrop sounds of the workers. The organization well was put and on topic, but i suggest that more could have been said to support the topic. I would have also like some set tone as well. I loved the piece over and well well put together. Nice work.

The piece was nicely done, organized well and on topic. I believe taxing on plastic bag would be a very good idea to reduce the use of plastic bags. I would suggest that maybe some music to help set the tone more with this topic. The piece was well done and organized well. Nice work.

I liked this piece. The music set the tone for this piece. The piece was on topic, a very good discription of what to do in the winter, as well explaining what is done in the winter for those who do not experience winter weather. I myself am happy I get to enjoy the winter, for that it is my favorite time of the year. Very nice work and well done.

This piece was very well done. The piece was on topic. The interview was very good with capturing the background noises, made it seem alot more better. Job well donr, but i would have suggested that there could have been some background music to set the tone. The piece was excelent though. Great work.

The piece was on topic. I feel that a little bit more emotion added to your tone? Going green is something more serious that we need to do. One act of making an effort to go green can make a big difference. Good job on the piece though. I would also suggest setting the mode and tone in the intro, as well as the outro, But once again great job.

The intro sets the tone of this piece, then also to have someone else from a different part of the world was the cherry on this piece. With her experiences growing up, I feel pulls in the listener more. Such as myself, I to can reflect on this. Growing up in a drought area in Northern Arizona. Water is, a sacred important aspect of our lives. Where still to this day in my local area, there are about 20% of the population still without running water. That is hauled by trucks and water tanks from the local windmills and water pumps throught the surrounding area. The general public to me is unaware of this problem as well, and to preserve the land is something that we need to rethink. If we get more people to support this problem. The government could contribute a very big help, but until we have someone to voice this. It will be a lingering problem that will still be over looked. Kudos on this piece, opened my knowledge on that my local community is not the only one facing a water crisis.

Asking question to yourself is one to input in your own pieces. To me it gets you on a balanced level of who your interviewing and can see more of the pros and cons that you may be a part of. I feel alot of these big companys should convert to green products. Using products that are used from a day to day basis, all adds up. Then to have a big chain store such as Wal-Mart, I feel they need to make a change to purchasing eco friendly product, especially if a third of the population is buying their products. This little change can make a big difference. Very good work on the topic, but i feel some of the music was a bit unnecessary and maybe could have been cut down a little more. Great work.

For most that aren't as knowledgable about fasion, such as myself. Feel that if where goiong to spend money on dresses, or any type of formal wear. Our money could be used towards a more positive outcome, such as purchasing eco-friendly clothing. This type of topic is something that needs to be more out there to teens who buy fashion clothing or any formal wear. I myself like this topic and look foward to conducting a piece on fashion, here at my own school.

This was a very interesting piece. I try and influence my fellow peers to conduct such pieces as this. The tone and message was very clear. The way it was like a poem with a more "flavor". The background music topped everything off. Very nice. Keep up the good work.

Comment for "Two Zambian girls talk about climate change"

Hopi High School Radio

This type of topic on climate changes, not only needs to be heard by the general public, but as well heard by the younger generation. We as teens are the next generation and can influence our peers, because this is going to effect us. There is not enough information about climate changes that is being heard by teens. Most teenagers are unaware what global changes are occurring, and how serious this climate change is. What the Zambian girls say is very true, not many teens want to take a glance at what is around them. Most teens say that global climate change is a "bore" to them, and it's very upsetting that they do not want to take an interest in what will effect them. Finding ways to catch their attention, to feed them knowledge, should not be a priority. Teens should be finding ways that will make them want to take a stand to this type of problem. Most teens may seem to look at the change like a tough challenge, but it can be done, with motivation, before any permanent damage is done. If nothing is done with advising people on what's going on, or making an effort to make some changes, we will be extinct. The answers are out there. Just we as teen are too "lazy" to search for them. This was a very interesting piece. Nicely done and well approached with the answers.
