About Me

The first time he went to Afghanistan, Gregory Warner took along his accordion. He made a movie about it here.

Since then, Warner has reported from Pakistan, Iran, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. His stories have aired on This American Life, NPR’s All Things Considered, WNYC's Radiolab and other programs. His global worker profiles for Homelands Productions, airing on the ‘Working’ series for Marketplace Radio, shared in a 2008 Radio Feature Award from the Society for Professional Journalists. Gregory has received two Edward R Murrow awards for his feature reporting and was recently a fellow with the Carter Center for Mental Health Reporting.
