About Me

I make radio for CBC and NPR. My stories and interviews have been heard on Spark, Metro Morning, The Current, DNTO, On The Media, State of the Re:Union, and more.

Seeking out immersive sound, and great stories. My mic has captured knitting inmates, Alzheimer’s sufferers, calypso queens, literary speed daters, internet wage-slaves, and media moguls. I always work to tease out narrative, emotion, and humour.

This audio obsession started with podcasting. My show, I Like You, features peoples’ personal stories about the trials of online dating, living with HIV, decades long crushes, bathhouse hookups, and growing old together. It’s been downloaded over 250,000 times.

Radio people are my kind of people. That’s why I founded the Canadian Sound & Story Workshop. We teach classes, hold events, and generally share the radio love around.
