Jones loves youth-made radio. As the Project Director of Generation PRX she wants listeners to hear youth-made radio, stations to license it, and youth to keep making it.
Before PRX, she taught documentary arts at the Center for Documentary Studies (where she co-founded the Youth Noise Network radio group), taught in Latin America and Cuba and worked as a Grand Canyon tour guide. Jones holds a Masters in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Also, she's in the Guiness Book of World Records for helping to break the "largest number of accordions in one place at one time playing one song for 5 minutes" record: 989 accordions playing "Mussels in the Corner." Jones doesn't actually play the accordion.
