Host Glynn Washington made his own Snap Judgment in his late teens by fleeing the apocalyptic cult he grew up in. He escaped to Asia, studied and worked in Japan, before leaving to attend the University of Michigan Law school. Glynn served as a junior diplomat in Malaysia before attempting corporate law.

He hated it with every fiber of his being.

Lesson learned, Glynn has run nonprofit organizations every since. Currently he is the Executive Director of the Center for Young Entrepreneurs at Haas (within UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business).

Glynn credits growing up in a cult with his storytelling ability. "I studied at the feet of the masters," he confessed. "When you promise Jesus is coming next week, and no one shows up - you have got some explaining to do. They made it seem easy . . . "
