Megan Martin first dabbled in sound when she received a Fisher Price tape recorder on her fourth birthday (lots of great commentary about Barbie!). She has collected oral histories from Chicago to Mexico; she has edited books for a New York author; she has performed weekly at the PIT in NYC with her improv group Big Black Car.

Megan is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. Her work has aired on the shows The Next Big Thing and Weekend America, as well as Maine Public Radio. Other pieces have found homes with cultural institutions like the Guggenheim Museum and the Poetry Foundation. Megan is currently spending the year in Mexico where she is completing a Fulbright Fellowship on indigenous radio in the state of Oaxaca.

Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
