I'm the independent producer of The Sound of Young America, a radio show and podcast based in San Francisco. The show is broadcast on KUSP in Santa Cruz; KSFS, San Francisco; KWCW, in Washington; WMCO in New Concord, Ohio and WUSM, Hattiesburg. It's also podcast to thousands on the internet, making it one of the more popular public radio podcasts.
Besides producing the show, I work as a sketch comedian and at the conservation non-profit The Trust for Public Land. I was news director of KZSC for two years, and have also worked at XM Satellite Radio and West Coast Live.
Salon.com wrote about The Sound of Young America that, "If you've never heard of The Sound of Young America, The Sound of Young America is the greatest radio show you've never heard of."
It was also recently chosen "Pick of the Podcasts" by Time Magazine.
