Heidi Chang is an award winning multimedia journalist currently working in radio, television and print, and producing content for the Web.
Her reports have aired on National Public Radio, Voice of America, The World, the environmental show Living on Earth. Associated Press Radio, Marketplace, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and other news outlets.
Heidi has worked in television news in San Francisco, Seattle and Honolulu. She's also worked on TV shows, films, documentaries and special projects that have been broadcast nationally and internationally.
She's been awarded numerous fellowships, including one from the East-West Center, which took her to China and Hong Kong, where she reported on her journey.
Heidi began her media career in Hawaii hosting popular radio shows featuring jazz, Hawaiian, contemporary pop, rhythm and blues and rock music. She also hosted shows on jazz station KCSM and KBLX "The Quiet Storm" in San Francisco.
