About Me
I'm in my 27th year as a host of the "Lost & Found" show on WMBR 88.1 FM Cambridge MA, the community and college station serving Greater Boston from M.I.T.
"Lost & Found" is a weekday program of music and occasional artist interviews focusing on music of the 1960s and '70s no longer heard (and some perhaps never originally heard) on commercial radio.
I currently host Tuesdays 12 noon - 2 PM (ET), recreating the 1960's "FM underground radio" era featuring album rock, folk-rock, country-rock, blues and psychedelia of mainly the mid-1960s to mid-1970s.
Since 1999, I've also been working as a part-time announcer and on-air engineer at WBUR 90.9 FM, Boston's NPR News Station based at Boston University.
From 1986 to 1995, I was one of the hosts of the former weekly 1960s/'70s music show "Psychedelic Regressions" on WZBC 90.3 FM Newton MA, the Boston College radio station.
In 2005, I worked as a substitute host at WUMB 91.9 FM at U. Mass. Boston, a Public Radio music station formerly known as "Folk Radio". Fill-ins included their weekend 1960's/70's folk-rock program "Highway 61 Revisited" and their weekday folk-based music format. I also produced a musical documentary aired on WUMB in 2005 and 2007 titled "A Folk Radio Special Tribute to Jerry Garcia", looking at the folk and traditional influences in his 30+ year musical career.
