Description

KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio reaches over 338,000 listeners weekly and serves the Puget Sound region and Western Washington with local, national, and international news and information. KUOW produces an extensive array of locally-produced programs including The Conversation, The Beat, and Weekday, which is heard state-wide through Northwest Public Radio. In all, KUOW-produced programming accounts for more than twenty-seven hours each week. The award-winning KUOW program staff frequently contributes to nationally aired programs. KUOW is a founding member station of National Public Radio (NPR) and a founding producer of the Northwest News Network (N3 ) a cooperative which supplies news content to stations throughout the Northwest.
