WEKU broadcasts classical music and news to more than 50,000 listeners in central and southeastern Kentucky on WEKU 88.9FM in Richmond-Lexington, WEKH 90.9FM in Hazard and WEKF 88.5FM in Corbin. Now in its third decade, WEKU is a public radio service of Eastern Kentucky University and its Division of Media Resources.
By extending the reach of the University, WEKU's mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Commonwealth by providing listeners with vibrant cultural and intellectual programming, and by informing them about significant issues facing society.
