KIALJoined PRX: September 23, 2005
KIAL is an AM station broadcasting to the community of Unalaska & Port of Dutch Harbor. On any given day, a listener will hear a wide variety of album-oriented music as well as NPR programming such as the World Cafe and Morning Edition.
KIAL is the only local station within 250 miles. We serve a community of 5,000 residents and 10,000-15,000 seasonal workers, including a large international work force from the Pacific Rim and Africa.
