Description
91.7 KXOT is a second FM service of KUOW Public Radio. KXOT went on the air on August 23, 2006 and serves the Tacoma, Olympia and Seattle, WA areas.
KXOT has a news and information format, but a different schedule than KUOW. KXOT features programming from CBC, including Ideas, Sunday Edition, Tapestry and DNTO. KXOT also includes programming from the World Radio Network, PRI, APM and NPR.
KXOT features three hours of showcase time each week for specials, documentaries and series. Some hours will include 2-4 pieces licensed from PRX.
