Each year thousands of unexplained events occur. We know these accounts to be true. Behind that truth lies the real stories — life-changing and sometimes frightening. My name is Christopher Reynaga. Come with me in search of the stories behind the magic, the mystery, and the unexplained. Called "The NPR of the Twilight Zone" by a reviewer and "A paranormal-reporting Garrison Keillor" by Tampa Bay Creative Loafing. Point Mystic is a semi-fictional monthly broadcast in the story-driven style of This American Life and Serial, interspersed with the narrative sense of The News from Lake Wobegone. It combines real interviews and personal stories with fictional elements to achieve a kind of audio magical realism.
