Right Between the Ears is an award-winning sketch comedy show that regularly skewers politics, celebrities, sports figures, the rich and powerful, the quicky -- even the occasional turkey.
Every week RBTE serves up a high octane hour of topical take-offs and put-ons, satirical songs and goofy sound effects, all performed live before a studio audience.
Right Between the Ears recently won two Gold Medals at the 2005 New York Festivals, for Best Comedy Show and Best Writing. In 2004, RBTE was the first radio show to win National Best of Show at the Silver Microphone Awards. The show's received numerous other awards, including Crystal Awards of Excellence, the Golden Reel and four CPB Gold Program Awards.
13 one-hour shows available for broadcast in early 2006. The series begins with RBTE's 20th anniversary broadcast, with special guest Liane Hansen of NPR's Weekend Edition-Sunday.
