Studio Session Live Radio 2017

Studio Session Live showcases singer/songwriters, with a wide variety of original music and insight into the performers. We seek out creators of music who are lead by their passions. We want the music that runs though your mind long after the performance has wrapped.

Studio Session Live, as always, is centered on the musician and the music. Melody, lyrics, harmony are not just words for us, but what we search for, and bring to you. We showcase local artists, regional artists and artists from across the country, some old pros, and some emerging new artists. We are mostly folk, but that includes Renaissance, Americana, Bluegrass, Country, Celtic, and Country. What they all have in common is exceptional music. We are not looking for artists who are in the middle of all genres, but the artists who are creating music.

Our hosts will take the audience both inside the music and behind the scenes with the artists and their careers. They illuminate who they are and what makes their music so distinctive.

We start our second year of shows. First four were recorded May 19th, and the next 4 on April 9th.

It is like the performers are right in the room with you. Would that there were more recordings done today like this. Listening would be much better.”

This season will include Kala Farnahm, Emily Barnes, Matt Borrello, Sweet Wednesday, Andy and Judy, Danielle Miraglia, Eric Lee, and Greta Strobel to start.
