For many years, Bob Parlocha hosted some of the finest programming on jazz radio, blending masters of the past and present with new voices, equally destined to make their mark on the music. With his passing in 2015 we lost the sound of Bob's elegance; his unique stories; his sound of surprise + delight found in the music he was passionate about.

For me, Bob was both a dear friend and a mentor for all things concerning jazz radio. His deep love for, and curiosity about the music, never wavered and has had a profound impact on the way I approach programming.
