Celebrating 50 years of American wilderness.

Can the sounds of a wilderness experience transport you to a place? Can the stories about people who visit and care for these places inspire you to explore on your own? We think they can, and in a very powerful way.

Here's how we'll do it

Wilderness, according to the Wilderness Act, is “an area where the earth and its community of life are untrammeled by man.” Untrammeled means unrestrained, unhindered, and free. It's also the name of this new enhanced podcast and radio series that celebrates the 50th anniversary of American wilderness, using engaging narrative, evocative sounds of nature, and compelling experiences to illuminate exactly what untrammeled means.
