"Voices From the Summit"
A SERIES OF "SCREENSIDE CHATS"
with distinguished expressive arts therapists
who teach at the Expressive Therapies Summit.
The Expressive Therapies Summit is:
MULTIMODAL, featuring all of the creative arts therapies.
INTERMODAL, emphasizing collaborative workshops by 2 or more specialists.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY, including professionals and content from other fields.
STRONGER TOGETHER (TM),
That has been our guiding principle in creating the Expressive Therapies Summit. After a half century of working in parallel process, it's time for us to gather and learn from each other, and work collaboratively toward the success of all the expressive arts therapies. Together, we are stronger.

We refer to ourselves variously: Creative Arts Therapists, Arts Psychotherapists, Expressive Therapists. We are all of these, and more. Not only do we help others, we do so creatively, using one or more of the fine and performing arts. Not limiting ourselves to a single muse or treatment model, we enable others to express their innermost selves, regardless of age, language, or ability.
