Views and Brews Remix: Conversations at the Cactus Cafe produced by KUT Radio

Views and Brews Remix captures the best moments from the KUT produced series Views and Brews: Conversations at the Cactus Cafe. Recorded live in the legendary Cactus Cafe on the University of Texas at Austin campus, Views and Brews is hosted and produced by KUT’s Rebecca McInroy.

The programs cover a wide range of topics with leading minds in a relaxed atmosphere where new ideas and audience participation are encouraged, unexpected, and enlightening. Many of the shows include live music performances from greats like Jimmie Vaughn, Marc Ribot and David Hidalgo.

It’s like sitting in on a captivating dinner conversation as we discuss everything from what it means to be “American”, to how to adapt our thinking style for the 21st century, to what the music and legacy of Billie Holiday can teach us about ourselves and our struggles for authenticity. Eavesdrop on these conversations at the Cactus Cafe with Views and Brews Remix.
