The Beauty Salon

The Beauty Salon is a half-hour program broadcasting on 90.3 WRIU every Monday (starting June 4th, 2012!), produced by an interdisciplinary collective of faculty members from the University of Rhode Island.

Each week, the Beauty Salon features a rousing live-recorded discussion of aesthetic issues from across Southern New England, mixed with interview segments with local aesthetic practitioners and listener submissions. The regular hosts are Cheryl Foster (philosophy), Karen de Bruin (languages) and Ian Reyes (communication studies), with production assistance from David Howard (theatre), Dawn Cardace (geosciences) and Cate Morrison (communication studies).
