Celebrating the music of living composers.

Horizons in Music from WFIU Public Media is a one hour program celebrating the music of living composers. Music selections are chosen to appeal to fans of new music and newcomers to the genre. Episodes are thematic in nature centering around topics such as the ICONS series, which highlights the big names in the new music world, recent releases, poetry, jazz-classical crossover, and a nearly unlimited variety of others. Occasional interviews with artists and exclusive live recordings enhance the unique nature of this program.

Episodes are created to stand alone or may programmed as a recurring series, and each episode has an approximate 10:1 ratio of music to talk.
