'Page by Page' is one of the few programs on public radio devoted purely to writers, books, publishing and the literary culture at large. Each week, host Jonathan Bastian speaks with award-winning authors, critics and educators to gain greater insight into the books that are influencing our culture.

'Page by Page' with Jonathan Bastian explores the world of writers, books and publishing with in-depth interviews and expansive commentaries. On any given show, you might hear from a Pulitzer-winning author, an acclaimed critic or even an editor from a famed publishing house.

Recent guests include: Colum McCann, Richard Russo, Jennifer Egan, Jonathan Safran Foer, Gary Shteyngart, Nicole Krauss, Juan Gabriel Vasquez, Edwidge Danticat, and many others.

'Page by Page' is also interested in looking beyond the world of American fiction and taking listeners to new international landscapes.
