Deutsche Welle's weekly series of 5-minute features introduces you to individuals around the world who are serious about giving back to their community.

Whether they are teaching kids through stand-up comedy in Chicago, helping provide clean water in India, or offering free music lessons to underprivileged kids in the UK, young people all over the world are making a difference. Deutsche Welle's series of 5-minute features, Generation Change, shares their stories.

Maybe they're involved in an environment project, campaign for a political issue, or simply volunteer their time to help others. Whatever their cause, they have one thing in common: a passion for change.

In some 30 features, Generation Change profiles young, self-sacrificing individuals - from all over the globe - who are actively involved in making this world a better place. Each episode is sound-rich and 5 minutes long, which makes it a great use for public radio.

The series also includes plenty of content for your website including graphic links to the blogs of many of those profiled, plus a link to the series blog so that your listeners can share in the experience. We're also making available an imbed-able player for your website so that your listeners can have access to the full 6-month series of more than 30 reports. Hide full description
